ABOUT KATE'S TRAINING

Our Company

Kate's Training is a non-profit training company - Community Interest Company limited by guarantee. We provide regulated (RQF) and non-regulated courses for Adults and Children, free community workshops and events. We operate mainly within Rochdale Borough - Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton but we can also facilitate training in whole Greater Manchester and the online training is available nationally. Our Team - Board of directors and our Volunteers are a diverse team and if you are passionate about people and about First Aid, we welcome you to get in touch with us and join our team. Our Trainers and
Quality Standards

Our Trainers are qualified Nuco-Instructors and we work in partnership with Nuco-Training and our awarding organisation First Aid Awards. We are committed to delivering high-quality training services. Our focus is on providing comprehensive education on essential life-saving techniques and ensuring that individuals and organizations are well-prepared to handle emergency situations. We would like to ensure workplace safety as well as making sure that each member of Community knows how to save lives. We follow national guidelines and meet the national quality standards set by DfE, OFSTED, EYFS, HSE, NHS and Food Safety Standards and we are being regularly monitored for Quality Assurance. Our training is fully inclusive and we meet all reasonable adjustements to serve all our Students.

Our vision is to empower members of community, give them practical skills, including lifesaving skills to deal with emergencies, as well as making sure that your workplace is a safe space. We are fully inclusive and offer training to diverse communities, including Asylum Seekers, Refugees and people from all background and all ages and abilities. â€‹â€‹â€‹

OUR MISSION:

​

1. Empower - give confidence, knowledge and skills to deal with emergencies to members of community as well as to staff and volunteers at workplace.

2. Improve wellbeing - our training has also social aspect, our students have opportunity to get engaged into local community and activities, reduce loneliness and improve mental health/wellbeing, meet friends as well as 'give' something to the community as volunteers. We also provide emotional and practical support to our students and their families and we can signpost to other local services, such as mental health, family services, or employment advice.

3. Enhance CV and increase employability. We offer training opportunities for all levels of advancement and supervisory roles,  from level 1 to 3. Our training is also tailored to business needs and specific job roles.

OUR LOCATIONS

We are based in various locations to serve you better:
- We operate mainly within Rochdale Borough. Our main location is Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton. 

- We can travel anywhere in Greater Manchester and facilitate training at your venue or one of our venues

- We also facilitate training online within the UK.
