ABOUT KATE'S TRAINING
About us
Kate’s Training CIC is a non-profit organisation with diverse and specialised board, qualified instructors and dedicated volunteers, staff and freelancers.
We deliver high-quality, Ofqual regulated training to businesses within Greater Manchester and to residents from local community within Rochdale Borough.
Our training is fully inclusive and we create supportive environment towards learners with barriers to employment.
We work with local authorities and employability programmes, with youth clubs and family services to help the residents to thrive.
Our Vision
To empower our community with practical, confidence‑building skills — including lifesaving skills for emergencies — and to help create safer, more inclusive workplaces. We welcome people from all backgrounds, ages, abilities and experiences, including Asylum Seekers and Refugees, ensuring everyone has access to high‑quality, supportive training.
Our Mission
1. Empower
Build confidence, knowledge and skills to deal with emergencies to members of community as well as to staff and volunteers at workplace.
2. Improve wellbeing
Our training has also social aspect, our students have opportunity to get engaged into local community and activities, reduce loneliness and improve mental health/wellbeing, meet friends as well as 'give' something to the community as volunteers. We also provide emotional and practical support to our students and their families and we can signpost to other local services, such as mental health, family services, or employment advice.
3. Enhance CV and increase employability
We offer training opportunities for all levels of advancement and supervisory roles, from level 1 to 3. Our training is also tailored to business needs and specific job roles.

OUR LOCATIONS
Classroom-based training:
We operate within Greater Manchester. Our main locations are Rochdale Borough, Heywood, Middleton and Pennines. We can deliver training at your venue or at one of our venues. For regulated training ID is required.
Distance-learning (online) training:
We facilitate online training via Zoom or Teams nationally. For all online sessions ID is required or pre-approvement. The online training is for age 18+ for Safeguarding purposes.
Blended training:
Our First Aid training can be delivered partially in the classroom (practical parts) and partially online (theory).
